Construction & Renovation Debris Removal

You Focus on Building. We’ll Handle the Hauling.

Renovation debris can quickly take over a driveway, work area, or jobsite. When your crew needs room for the next phase, SJD Junk Removal helps get the materials out of the way.

We support contractors, ADU builders, remodelers, property managers, and homeowners with loading and hauling for eligible construction debris. Whether you need a one-time pickup or removal throughout a project, we work with you to understand the materials, access, and timing.

We serve Sylmar, the San Fernando Valley, and communities throughout Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.

Hauling That Supports Your Project

Your crew’s time is valuable. SJD helps move debris offsite so your team can focus on the work ahead.

We can assess pickups during construction, after a remodel, or before the next trade arrives. Let us know your project schedule and where the materials are staged.

Materials We Can Remove

  • Lumber scraps and wood offcuts.
  • Drywall scraps.
  • Flooring, carpet, and padding already removed.
  • Detached cabinets and eligible fixtures.
  • Cardboard and construction packaging.
  • Nonhazardous renovation and demolition debris.

Concrete, brick, tile, roofing materials, dirt, and other dense loads require advance review and weight-based assessment.

Materials We Do Not Remove

  • Asbestos-containing materials.
  • Paint, solvents, adhesives, or chemicals in liquid form.
  • Fuels, oils, and hazardous materials.
  • Contaminated soil.
  • Unknown materials that cannot be safely identified.

This service covers debris loading and hauling. Demolition, excavation, and utility disconnection are not included in a standard debris removal quote.

What Your Quoted Service Includes

  • Professional loading labor.
  • Truck and dump trailer.
  • Hauling and responsible disposal.
  • Applicable dump fees and recycling surcharge.

Pricing considers the material type, size, weight, and quantity, along with loading labor, access, disposal requirements, and travel distance.

Heavy materials can reach the trailer’s safe weight limit before the trailer is full. Please disclose concrete, dirt, tile, roofing materials, and other dense debris when requesting your quote.

Include any stairs, elevator requirements, narrow access routes, gate codes, parking restrictions, or long carrying distances.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you provide recurring pickups during construction?

Yes. We can discuss a pickup schedule based on your project’s location, materials, expected volume, and service availability.

Do I need to separate the debris?

Sometimes. Separating dense materials from lighter debris may help with load planning and disposal. Send photos, and we’ll explain any preparation needed.

Can you haul concrete, tile, or dirt?

We assess these materials individually. Quantity, weight, access, and material condition determine acceptance and pricing.

Why can a small pile cost more than a larger pile?

Weight matters as well as volume. Concrete, tile, and similar materials can weigh much more than wood or packaging, even when they occupy less space.

Do you remove materials from inside a building?

We can assess indoor loading when access is safe. Include the floor number, carrying distance, stairs, and elevator restrictions.

Does debris removal include tear-out work?

No. A debris hauling quote covers materials ready for removal. Additional work must be reviewed separately.
